How I built a minimalist analytics tool for Notion as a solo maker.

Notion is all about aesthetics. Most analytics widgets are... well, not pretty.

I ve been obsessed with creating a 'Ghost Tracker' an invisible way to measure engagement without ruining the minimalist vibe of a workspace. It s been a challenge to balance deep data collection with zero visual impact.

Page views are a vanity metric. Why is nobody talking about "Time-on-Page" in Notion?

I ve spent years building in Notion, but I always felt blind. A 'view' tells me someone clicked, but it doesn't tell me if they actually read my content or just bounced.

I m building a tool to solve this, and I'm curious: For those of you sharing public Notion pages (portfolios, templates, docs), what metric actually makes you feel successful? Is it the number of clicks or knowing someone spent 5 minutes engaged with your work?
