@netgenius I still have no clue what this product does even after reading all your replies. I don't see how this is solving any problems besides being super vague.
@michaelabehsera I want to introduce something like AOL, MS-DOS, BBS from the nindies before the networks like Facebook ruled are everyday lives and brought in these conflict of interests (at least for me). I grew up on the internet 12-14 hour days tying up 56kpbs. before the browser was ruling our everyday lives and want to re-introduce this by first introducing this web application. Everything new is confusing and difficult to understand we are trying our best to make it more visible and clear. We are just working on something that could be a lot more cooler and beneficial then many of the dead one feature apps available today. You have to be a REAL internet user to get this idea and creation before it will ever become mainstream. Thank you to Product Hunt for seeing our vision and posting us today! I am not claiming that we have all the kinks worked out but I am claiming that if you take the time to see what we have built and what it is capable of you would respect it for what it's worth. That's all I can say. Thanks.
@netgenius jusssssssst a piece of perhaps un-welcomed advice here, but saying things like "you have to be a REAL Internet user to get this idea" is just flat out condescending. The PH community is literally chalk-full of some of the most intelligent, active, critically constructive and generally helpful (REAL) Internet users, my man. You unfortunately seem to generally lack this type of self-awareness; which seems to be the "product's" deepest flaw.
so is there any type of elevator pitch or clear and concise description of what this product does? I just wasted 15 minutes reading all these replies and still feel clueless regarding the point of this...
Tried the hardest not to get into this discussion.
I kind of liked the idea of a commandline in a browser if that's your thing. I'm on iPhone 6s at the moment and your landingpage works fine for mobile if you request a desktop site. Don't really get why you promt users you don't support mobile when it works fine on mobile and you also have a mobile section (link on the bottom). You could atleast show a landingpage for mobile?
Anyway, what I wonder about is from reading your privacy policy. Could you clarify the part about storing personal information and limited people accessing the system? The section brings questions to me if you are PCI compliant?
In the following sections you first mention you don't use 3rd partiy plugins or software on your site, and then explain how you use google ads as a 3rd party software, so I guess you are actually using a 3rd party software and then you should explain the privacy related constraints by using it.
@mikaellowgren thanks for trying to hold back from this juicy discussion ;) also I appreciate the feedback. Our policies will be revisited in due time. I use a 3rd party company to generate all policies and terms until we get the official ones drafted from our higher ups. We have been told they his process is and can be pretty lengthy. We have these in place for the time being.
@adrruez Adrien thanks for this.. trying to keep up with the love +1

Sorry but I am also joining the herd and 'not getting it'. What's your proposition? If you can't tweet it then you have no proposition.

I am not being negative. I think everyone is pushing you to just answer the simple question of what this product does. All were getting back from you is jargon terms, keywords and more details that make no sense. @netgenius
@michaelabehsera agree. My team and I shall work on this. We have blogs and we have many tweets which outline our long term plan and many people clearly see the picture per our inbox. You are not speaking for everyone yet your speaking for some <-- POINT TAKEN. Nothing will come from going back and forth with you. We are building an alternative to the mainstream internet and web. A new world of communication, collaboration, content & gaming. We have many cool features that may or MAY NOT seem cool to you POINT TAKEN. Thank you for all your comments and replies.

I think the biggest issue is that you're presenting your startup as a representation of you rather than a representation of what your customers may want. Your ego and pride in your project is standing in the way of you being able to clearly explain what it is that you do. nobody cares that you're an Internet genius, and nobody cares that this is the start up of the future. They want to know what this is for and what they can do with it. That is the overwhelming amount of feedback that you're getting right now, and you're getting very defensive about what people are saying. If you really want this to change the way that people experience the Internet, you need to be a little bit more tactful.
