Basically, what we do is connect multiple payment and anti-fraud processors such as ClearSale, Stripe, Conekta, PayU and Adyen on the same API or dashboard to try with multiple providers in case the first one rejects the purchase, achieving better acceptance rates and experience for customers. The idea of NovuPay was born from an internal need at WeShip.com where we had a high percentage of rejected cards and payment processing problems. Sometimes even our long-time customers were marked as fraudulent by providers, which affected the experience we wanted to provide. It even happened to me, where in my e-commerce store, I tried to buy shipping labels in WeShip and it marked me as fraudulent. 😅 Thanks to this, we decided to create an internal solution to solve this problem. The results we had were so good that we decided to launch the solution to the market and help more businesses optimize their online payments.
