@nickyarosz Hi Nicholas, first thank you for playing, glad you're enjoying it! :) And yes that's expected behavior but I am still considering whether I should add support for handling associative property so this gets accepted - still unsure on this!
What do you think would be more fun? I get this method seems a bit frustrating.

@nickyarosz@rehan_ahmed Part of the fun is deducing what the correct place for all the numbers is. I would definitely keep accepting only the literal order.
Maybe add a 4th color, purple, for numbers that are in the right "association".
@_varunparikh Thanks Varun, I'll definitely look into it, considering adding easy/hard modes where you can customize different features so that would be really useful!

Super fun for the beta brains.
I do have a request though⦠please copy the 6th row to the output, along with my score (which has been 6/6 twice now ;-)
@lucbloom Thank you so much for pointing out that bug - I don't know how I missed that. Just pushed the update with the fix! Now it shows the 6th row, and also shows the score.

Just discovered nerdlegame.com, but yours is better because that one can be broken by just entering "105-98=7" and then "3*4/2=06" every time. It does have some UI ideas though. Oh and it supports association rearrangement, if you were still thinking about that.
@lucbloom I recently came across it too, it has much better UI and I know I'm biased but I like mine's mechanism better haha š
But UI and features-wise, I have a lot of work to do. Also I didn't know it supported association rearrangement, thanks for pointing that out too!

Love it! I was looking for such a game to pass my time when I am waiting for something. However, I am not very great at math, but only at simple exercises, and I think that it is my fault as I barely listen to math lessons because I just can't concentrate. So, in order to understand the lesson, I use a service that completes my math homework very quickly and in detail. Plus, I like that the service offers confidentiality and several secure payment methods which are very important for me.

- entering 00 + 12 / 3 should maybe not be allowed? Leading 0.
@lucbloom That part was intentional as I didn't want people to use that as a loophole - that would effectively allow people to use any equation to guess the hidden numbers by adding leading 0s to the remaining guesses.

@rehan_ahmed I agree, and Iām saying that I was able to use 00 + ā¦.. anyway.
@lucbloom Ahh, now I see it, I misunderstood it. You're really good at figuring out edge cases š Thanks! I'll add a condition to handle it so there are no trailing zeroes with a 0 either.

@rehan_ahmed Except for instance 100 + ... of course :-)
@lucbloom Thanks Luc! This one's weird, and I am unable to replicate it so far. Will run some tests and see if I can figure out the issue and hopefully fix it. Really appreciate your help!
