NumGenie is your global phone number generator that instantly creates random phone numbers from different countries, giving you quick access to numbers worldwide in just seconds.

@prasanta_raut This looks super exciting! Congrats on the launch
@porush_puri Thank you.
@prasanta_raut This is great!. The only feedback I've is that I would use the use case of your product (eg, testing) in the hero section so people understand why they could use or need your product and why they are prompted to generate numbers.
@nico_ramella Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! 🙏 We really appreciate your suggestion about highlighting the use case in the hero section — it’s a great idea and something we’ll consider for future updates to make NumGenie even clearer and more user-friendly. 🚀
@prasanta_raut Sounds amazing. Simple, private, and elegant, love the focus on clean design and global usability. Great job.
@onuoha_05 Thank you so much 🙏 Thrilled you liked the simplicity and focus on privacy — that was a big priority for us while building NumGenie. 🌍✨ Your support means a lot! 🚀
@prasanta_raut it's actually a nice product.
Especially for me, it's something I would use as a Product designer I work mostly with using placeholder as my data when designing.
Interesting! I actually have 2 questions out of curiosity.
What if it gives away a phone number which already belongs to someone? Maybe not today, but tomorrow it could be someone's number if they coincidentally purchase a SIM bearing that number.
Have you considered the legal implications?
One Indian number Numgenie displayed to me turned out be someone's real number. I understand there is no misuse or possession involved here, but such a number if ever used for dummy sign-ups, could end up being unfair to the real owner.
@ashok_nayak Thank you for your questions and observations! 🙏
NumGenie generates random numbers for testing and temporary use only, and it doesn’t provide access to or possession of real numbers. We understand the concern — numbers are generated algorithmically and there’s a small chance they may overlap with real-world numbers. That’s why we clearly recommend using them only for testing, mockups, or placeholders, and not for any live transactions or verifications that could affect real users.
We take privacy and legal compliance seriously and continue to explore ways to minimize any accidental overlap. Your feedback is valuable as we refine the tool! 🌍⚡
NumGenie is a fantastic example of a well-executed lead magnet, a core strategy in inbound marketing. My analysis so far:
1. Contextualize the "Why": The current product page effectively explains what the tool does, but could more explicitly and proactively connect the user's specific use case to a potential need for Dialaxy's paid products.
For example, if a developer is using NumGenie for a mass SMS testing project, the page could feature a dynamic CTA that says, "Need to send bulk SMS? Check out Dialaxy's SMS messaging API." This creates a seamless transition from a free utility to a revenue-generating solution.
2. Deepen the Feature-to-Need Link: The product description could be refined to better articulate the value proposition instead of just listing features.
For example, "Instant Number Generation" could be framed as "Accelerate your QA workflow with instant, realistic test numbers."—For a technical audience like developers and QA specialists, using industry-specific jargon often resonates more powerfully than overly simple language because it shows a deeper understanding of their professional needs and pain points.
3. User Retention: The current tool is a one-off utility. A future iteration could explore adding multi-tenancy. This would allow users to save their generated numbers or look-ups for future sessions. This small feature could increase user stickiness and provide Dialaxy with a valuable database of engaged users—a potential goldmine for future email marketing and product announcements. This moves the user from being a one-time visitor to a recurring user of the product, thereby strengthening the lead nurturing process.
To the NumGenie team at Dialaxy,
A huge congrats on the launch! 🎉 NumGenie is a brilliant example of a smart lead magnet, and it's clear you've built something genuinely useful. Launching a new product is no small feat, and you all should be incredibly proud.
I genuinely love the product aesthetics. I'm excited to see where you take it next, and I wish you all the best of luck for the future! 🚀
@pratyush_prakhar Thank you so much for this thoughtful and insightful feedback! 🙏 We really appreciate the time you took to analyze NumGenie so thoroughly.
Your suggestions around contextualizing the “why,” framing features in a value-driven way for developers, and exploring user retention through multi-tenancy are incredibly valuable. These are exactly the kinds of ideas that can help us evolve NumGenie from a one-off utility into a truly sticky tool and a strong lead magnet for Dialaxy.
We’re thrilled to hear you love the product aesthetics and see the potential in what we’re building. Your encouragement means a lot to the team! 🚀 We’re excited to continue iterating and making NumGenie even more useful for our users.

The concept of NumGenie is awesome. I liked the idea of temporary phone numbers. But do you also offer OTP verification support?
@chilarai Thank you so much! 🙏 We’re glad you like the concept. Currently, NumGenie does not support receiving OTPs or verification codes from third-party apps, as that depends on the service itself. It’s designed mainly for testing, mockups, and temporary number needs. ⚡
This is great thanks for sharing @prasanta_raut ! For testing on a free number, does numbergenie let you receive confirmation codes or links?
@mcval_osborne Thank you! 🙏 NumGenie generates random global numbers quickly, but it doesn’t guarantee receiving verification codes or links for third-party apps, as that depends on the app or service itself. It’s mainly designed for testing, mockups, and temporary use. ⚡
@prasanta_raut Love this! I’ve definitely had those “ugh, do I really wanna drop my number here?” moments. NumGenie looks like such a clean and no-BS solution. Curious, do you plan to add region-specific formats (like EU or Asia numbers) or keep it global by default?
@lina_huchok Thank you so much! 🙏 We’re glad you love NumGenie and can relate to those “ugh” moments 😄. Currently, it generates numbers globally by default, but region-specific formats (EU, Asia, etc.) are something we’re exploring for future updates to make it even more useful. Stay tuned! 🌍🚀

Nice, simple tool — exactly what I wish existed when mocking signup flows. Quick question: do you support region-specific formatting rules (like India vs China vs US) and can we lock a chosen country so generated numbers always match that locale?
@jaredl Thank you so much 🙏 Glad you find it useful for signup flow mockups — that’s exactly the kind of use case we had in mind! 🎯
Right now, NumGenie supports global generation by default 🌍, but region-specific formatting and country-lock options are on our roadmap. We want to give users more control so they can tailor numbers to specific markets like India, China, or the US. 🚀
Really appreciate the feedback — it helps us prioritize what to build next! 🙌
