AI-powered walking routes for Manhattan

Nuyo differs from maps, travel blogs, and tour apps by focusing on dynamic exploration rather than logistics and generic city guides. Routes are generated in real time and structured as loops, so you end where you started. The AI layer is contextual and interactive, adapting to your preferences and allowing interactions from the user every time you reach a spot. Built specifically for Manhattan, it combines route logic, curated local data, and conversational AI into one continuous experience.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m one of the people behind Nuyo.
We created it because we noticed something simple: when you have free time in Manhattan, the hard part isn’t getting somewhere, it’s deciding what to do with that time.
Nuyo generates personalized walking routes in real time based on your interests, your time and your location. The route is a loop (so you end where you started), and every time you reach to a new spot, an AI assistant shares context and suggests places to stop for food or coffee whithin 5 min of your location. It’s currently Manhattan-only and iOS-only, and still early.
If you’re in Manhattan and can try it, we’d love your feedback.
If not, we’d still really value your thoughts on the concept and direction.
- Would you use this as a tourist?
- Would you use this as a local? or Would you use this in your own city?
- Would you plan a date with Nuyo?
- Would you spend a couple of hours with your kids walking with Nuyo?
- When would you use Nuyo? in which situation?
- What type of content you expect to find in Nuyo?
- Do you think the loop format feels useful?
- Does the AI adds value or feels unnecessary?
- What would make this better for you?
Happy to answer any questions and learn from your feedback.
I really like Nuyo!
This feels like it could solve a very specific problem: “What do I do with 2 free hours in a city?”
As a tourist, I’d definitely use this when I have 2 or 3 hours and don’t want to overplan (or simply I don't know what to do, but I do not want to stay in the hotel). That “in-between time” is usually where trips either feel magical or wasted.
As a local, I’d probably use it on weekends when I want to walk with a bit more intention instead of going to the same coffee spots. And I will use it if I want to go for a walk and disconnect. Maybe while listening to some music or just because I'm very curious about my surroundings.
I’d love content that goes beyond facts, things like context, cultural details, neighborhood personality, and lesser known data or stories behind each place.
Curious how it evolves, and would love to see a version of Nuyo (maybe a cousin ;) ) in other cities.

Thank you for your response!
We couldn't agree more! That “in-between time” is exactly what we’re trying to make meaningful instead of wasted.
I love how you framed the local use case too, walking, disconnecting, noticing more. That’s very aligned with what we hope it becomes.
Also fully agree on going beyond surface-level facts. We’re actively working on making the insights feel richer, more context, cultural depth, and neighborhood personality, not just information. We have been working on a curated list of places and great content from each spot!
And who knows, maybe Nuyo will have cousins in other cities someday 😉
Really appreciate you taking the time to share this.
