Nice idea, I have a rental property on AirBnb. The thing is that they mostly ask for early check-in and late check out. I cannot let an AI answer that cuz I need to contact my cleaning lady if she can go clean up early or take less time to clean up and I also need to check with the current guest if they are leaving early.

@utiq with the later versions of OAM AI, it will be able to handle that request. OAM knows when the unit is "ready" and can let guests in based on logic that you tell it! i.e if its 2 hours prior to check-in and the unit's status is "ready" allow guests to check-in early upon request!

This looks very cool. Would definitely be interested to see how it integrates with smart home devices. The example of finding cutlery seems like it would be difficult, since the RAG data source will get out of date as soon as one of the guests misplaces something, but that's probably a minor issue.

@ian_sinn Hello Ian! Thanks for the early support, we think with Matter and Seam, integrating w/ hardware is easier than ever. We plan to start with "unit access" as the starting point for hardware integration. re-cutlery example - we used that to highlight the sort of information that is an edge case that you might get at 11PM one night from a guest. Of course, as you mentioned this would only work in cases where positions of items in the house are closely monitored (cleaning team checklist).

@laocool hey German, thanks! Oam AI references the uploaded "home manual" pdf/docx that is uploaded by the host. If there are updates, you can just update the document and re-upload the file in the same upload section. Oam AI will replace your old file with the new one in the knowledge base.

@memphys_sk hello Stefans, yes next step is connecting a smart door lock like a Schlage Encode Plus to OAM AI and have it issue time bound access to the unit based on confirmed bookings. In order for guests to check-out, they are required to put a different code in the lock to confirm check-out! From there, the cleaning team is automatically deployed.
