The book has helped us understand our business much better and the feedback from our messaging has improved significantly as a result. I found the real world examples to be especially helpful in understanding how to apply the concepts.
I also highly recommend attending one of April's talks if you ever get the opportunity.

@mattr777 thanks Matt - I'm doing way too much public speaking right now tbh 🙂
Obsessed with this book! Step by step guide, so many examples to get you to understand concepts. I find myself often telling people things I learned from this book.

@brooke_hurford1 Thanks so much - I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Our startup has been using @aprildunford's book from the week it came out!
It's direct, it's tactical, has great examples, and the kicker...she has an tested and reproducible framework that can be used with any market, any product.
I went to one of her workshops about 5 years ago and we are still using her concepts in our marketing machine today. It was a no brainer for me to pick up this book for me and my marketing lead. Thanks April!

This is a book which supports actionable positive impact for a business to be "Obviously Awesome". No fluff, just easy and relatable tips on how to progress with a real understanding of what positioning is, and the importance it brings. It's a valuable resource from April Dunford that I recommend.
If there's one person who knows about positioning, it's April.
Her book is just the beginning of the depth of her knowledge. That said, it's so thorough it does make you wonder how much more she has yet to share with the rest of us! Years, no, DECADES of experience and insight is inside these pages and you should consider it the fast track to getting inside April's brain.
Read this book. Read it again. Implement 10 pages. Do it all over again. Watch the massive results roll in.

Easily the best book on product positioning. Everything is so well laid out to the point that this will serve as the go-to guide when trying to establish yourself in the market.
