Octopi Tracker is a small tool I built to calculate the real yield of native staking on Solana. I needed something that reflects what’s actually happening on-chain: used export of the transactions to Excel, added pseudo initial and final transactions, added XIRR() formula… too many manual actions to do. So I built a minimal dashboard that: (a) fetches rewards directly from the chain, (b) calculates annualised return on tour investment, (b) shows clean results. Open-source, AGPL-3.0.

Maker here. I built Octopi Tracker because simply wanted to know my real APY from native Solana staking — and none of the wallets or analytics tools I used could give me that number. For some time I was doing it manually in Excel, fixing data every time it complained about format error ("Not a number! Where, huh?"). It worked, but it was too much repetitive effort for something that should be straightforward. All the data is already on-chain and open. It felt like this calculation should be automated. So I built a small tool to scratch my own itch. Using free API tiers, I was forced to restrict period to the latest four weeks, but still it's a lot of epochs.
