@nassaraf@chrismessina@prismaai we haven't been in contact with Prisma, but we plan on adding neural style transfer capabilities to a future version of update. We just have to port something like fast-neural-style (feedforward style transfer) to iOS which has been done by many others besides Prisma. Oilist works well with low resolution images as input that creates 4k images as output, so it could do a lot to address the low resolution artwork Prisma creates.

This is so sick how good this is. Wondering why you took a different rout than prisma on free vs paid? I guess hoping to build another photo community is iffy..?
@bulleitandcoke Thank you! It was not an easy decision. Prisma has obviously been a great success, but they were going for a buyout from Facebook which didn't happen. Given what must had been a huge cost for their server time before it rendered directly on devices, there is no way to know if they have ever turned a profit. It appears all the styles in their store are "free".

This is a great product. But I figured that there should be concerted efforts to pull it through to more people. I only got to know about this , thanks to ProductHunt. Anyways, great product.

@jeshua_lacock In cases like this I will suggest a marketing plan that shows some selected customers making use of this app. Do like a documentary or a short film depending on your budget. Make sure to feature more of real life user not models using the app and sharing their stories. Then work social media with those stories, tag these individuals in order to produce a ripple effect online. That should get you somewhere before the next quarter.

It took some time to grow on me. My best work happens when initiate image processing and then do something else. Like...last night I was in a meeting. I grabbed a cute photo of my daughter hugging our dog and did let it render an oil painting. Looked away from it for a minute or so. Looked back...and wow...had a rendering worth saving.
I love how human the app feels. After awhile it gets angry and splats paint around to sort of start over. Plus, chaos is a drunken rage of paint splatter.
