Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Elvis, maker of OneTake.
The itch I needed to scratch: I needed a decent LinkedIn photo. A local studio quoted me $200+ and a two-week wait. So I tried the AI headshot tools instead — and hit a different wall: upload 15–20 selfies, wait 2 hours for a model to train, and get back photos of someone who looked like... my slightly more handsome cousin? The resemblance problem was real.
So I built OneTake around one constraint: it has to actually look like YOU. Instead of fine-tuning a model on a pile of selfies, OneTake uses FLUX.2's identity-preserving generation — it reads your face from a single photo and keeps it intact while changing the background, outfit, and lighting. 1 photo in, 30 professional headshots out, under 5 minutes.
What surprised me during development: the hard part wasn't the AI — it was the prompts. Early versions kept making people look 10 years older (turns out words like "experienced" and "distinguished" age your face!), forced awkward smiles that broke resemblance, and once put a male user in a blouse 😅. We ended up rewriting our entire template library with strict rules: no facial-muscle directives, no age-adjacent words, gender-specific outfits, bright lighting only. Each fix came from a real failed generation.
The honest pitch: $19 one-time (no subscription), 30 headshots, profession-matched backgrounds for 13 industries — and if any photo fails to generate, you get an automatic partial refund.
I'd genuinely love your feedback — especially from anyone who's tried other AI headshot tools: what annoyed you most? That's the stuff I want to fix next.
Ask me anything! 🙌

The identity preservation sounds impressive, especially for something that runs in 5 minutes. One thing I'd love to see is a "save my looks" option so I can re-use the same outfit and background styling for future headshots without starting from scratch each time.

@vedat2070061 Great idea — a "style preset" feature is on our radar. Would save repeat users time and keep the look consistent across sessions. Appreciate the thoughtful feedback!

Honestly pretty impressed with how much the photos actually look like me, not that uncanny AI thing where your jawline randomly shifts. The outfit options for my industry were spot on too, picked a few that I genuinely would've worn to a session.

@ayhannatekgp That's exactly what we optimize for — identity over beautification. Glad the industry outfits worked out for you. Thanks for giving us a try!

Uploaded a casual weekend selfie and got back headshots that genuinely looked like me, which was a nice surprise after trying similar tools that gave me a stranger's face every time.

@bedirhanmukc "A stranger's face every time" is sadly the norm with a lot of AI headshot tools — glad OneTake broke the streak. Thanks for sharing your experience!
