Openhall turns up to 10 artworks into a walkable 3D gallery. AI curates the rooms, layout, wall labels, and a guided tour; deterministic code builds the space so it is always coherent. Walk it in first person (WASD + mouse), then export a self-contained website you can host anywhere β you own every file. BYOK: bring your IBM watsonx or OpenAI-compatible key; your key is never stored, not even in this browser. Open source, with a no-key demo gallery you can explore first.
Hi Product Hunt! π
I'm Hui, a product manager and designerβ not an engineer. Openhall started as my entry for a 4-week IBM AI builders challenge: I designed the product plans and work orders, and AI coding agents wrote the code.
Why this product: artists shouldn't need a game engine, a 3D artist, or someone else's platform to show their work in space. With Openhall you upload up to 10 artworks, describe the exhibition in one sentence, and AI curates the rooms, layout, wall labels, and a guided tour. Then the part I care about most: you export the whole gallery as a self-contained website. Your files, your hosting, your gallery β no lock-in.
A few honest notes:
- It's BYOK (IBM watsonx or any OpenAI-compatible key). Your key is never stored β it lives in memory only while the page is open.
- No key? The demo gallery is one click, and the whole upload flow is open to try.
- It's open source β the relay, the viewer, everything is on GitHub.
I'd love specific feedback: which gallery style presets are missing? And if you export a gallery and put it online, please share the link β seeing real exhibitions built with this would make my week.
