What if marketplaces rewarded the best product instead of the best marketing? OpenMarket (in research preview), is a multi-agent marketplace where sellers pitch, competitors challenge their claims, and independent truth agents verify the evidence as they compete to earn a buyer's sale. Here, claims don’t count just because they’re written on a product page. They have to survive scrutiny and be proven.

I went into OpenMarket with a real problem: I needed another migraine head wrap, but instead of giving it a product name I searched the way a normal human thinks: “a cold head thing that helps my migraine.” 😂

What happened next was fascinating. OpenMarket considered 169 brands, brought 5 agents into the competition, checked 18 claims and exchanged 61 messages. It ultimately recommended TheraICE which is the exact product I already own and love.

Watching seller agents compete, challenge claims and use evidence completely changed how I was thinking about agentic commerce.

The fun part? At one point OpenMarket told me the TheraICE agent was “getting aggressive.” 😂

The best takeaway for me as a brand strategist: we're moving toward a world where AI agents may increasingly discover, evaluate and represent brands on our behalf. OpenMarket made that future feel much more tangible and present. Thank you!

Definitely worth playing with. I highly recommend for fun... don't give it a perfect product search. Tell it what you actually need and see what happens.

I’d love to see

1. Even more real verified evidence signals incorporated over time...reviews, delivery performance, returns, customer experience, etc. Watching agents compare what brands promise with reality of what customers actually experience could be a game changer.

2. An easy way to send the summary including evidence to a 3rd party. This could be a biz partner, life partner etc. Make it as easy as possible for someone / anyone to influence a sale and use OpenMarket to do it!
