Does the self-hosted version need me to manage Supabase myself for auth and storage, or is that fully bundled in?
@hogultekin47153 The self-hosted version does not bundle Supabase automatically.
By default, self-hosted OpenNapse runs in local-only mode: the app is served through Docker/nginx, and data stays in the user’s browser using IndexedDB. So for the basic self-hosted experience, you do not need to manage Supabase at all.
Supabase is only needed if you want the cloud features: authentication, team/workspace features, and the server-side AI gateway. In that case, you can either use Supabase Cloud or run your own Supabase stack separately, then provide the Supabase URL and anon key when building OpenNapse.
So: local self-host = bundled app only, no Supabase required. Cloud/team features = you manage/connect Supabase yourself.
