I've got a work calendar in Outlook and my actual life runs on Google Calendar, and every past attempt to bridge them meant asking our IT admin to approve an OAuth app with tenant-wide access, which was never happening. This runs locally against the Outlook desktop client and just mirrors events over without needing that approval, which is the whole reason I could finally set it up myself. Setup was quick and it's been quietly keeping both calendars in sync in the background since.

I'd like to see per-calendar sync direction control - right now it feels like one-way mirroring, and there are a couple of shared calendars where I'd actually want changes to flow both ways. Also would help to see a sync log or last-synced timestamp somewhere visible, just to confirm it's still running without having to check both calendars manually.

CalendarSync looked good but leans on a cloud-hosted sync service, which meant giving it broader account access than I was comfortable with for a work calendar. This one runs entirely on my Mac against the local Outlook client, so nothing routes through a third-party server, and that was the deciding factor.
