This is an interesting model, where OutTrippin is using travel bloggers to displace licensed travel agents.

Thanks @daveambrose for the shout out! When all goes according to plan, we'll be displacing a lot more than just travel agents. ;)

@daveambrose well, at its core, it has always been about replicating the only successful way we've known to plan a trip: Asking real people, who've "been there & done that" to recommend you stuff you might like. It's essentially recommendations that are tailored to the context of your trip and personality. The model has changed plenty and continues to change as we optimize, but the concept behind it remains the same. Understand you as a traveler so well that we can predict and recommend exactly the kinds of think you'd like to see, to drink, to eat, to dance to, to laugh at.. and just about everything else. .
