Thanks for jumping in, @rogerdickey! Why did you decide to focus on engineering roles first? Anecdotally, it seems that more non-tech folks (e.g. product mgmt, marketing, sales) are having a hard time finding good roles. Also, @hsukenooi from CoffeeMe (http://coffeeme.in) and you should chat. :)

I'd love to know how they validated this and how they'll manage the backend magic. Love the concept for other industries too. I also wonder what pricing decisions they've made.

Hello, I've been summoned. @rogerdickey Happy to share what I've learned. We're not focused on hiring so I don't think it's competitive.

@dshan We talked to a bunch of developers about how recruiting could work better, which inspired this product. Further validation came from some HN launch feedback :) We have a bunch of dashboards on the backend that make workflow more efficient for recruiters but there's still a lot of work to do if we decide to move ahead with this.

@rrhoover Because we understand engineers better. We wanted to build something that cuts down the noise, similar to Coffee-meets-bagel's approach to dating. Could definitely apply it to other roles later though.
