Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Hanna, the solo maker of OverFashion.
I originally built OverFashion out of pure personal frustration. Coming from a UX Design and Tech background, I wanted to digitize my wardrobe to shop more mindfully and pack for trips without the chaos.
But every closet app I tried failed me: They either had cluttered, sloppy interfaces, were heavily fast-fashion driven, or forced me to upload my private photos to some random, data-hungry cloud server. There was simply no premium, privacy-first option. So, during a canceled vacation, I decided to build my own.
Here is how I approached OverFashion differently: 🎨 Magazine-Quality UX: Built specifically for people who value a clean, distraction-free interface to focus on their clothes. 🔒 100% Privacy (Server-less): All machine learning (like auto-removing backgrounds and generating outfits based on Color/Body Type) runs safely and strictly on your iPhone. No account needed. No tracking. ✈️ True Utility: I integrated an intelligent Travel Assistant that calculates physical luggage capacity, and WeatherKit-based outfit generation.
Because the app is entirely server-less and heavily leverages modern AI models to do the heavy lifting, I am able to offer this premium tool at a fraction of the cost of traditional backend-heavy apps.
