Love the idea. How does it compare to Hemingway? Is this tool moreso for educational uses as opposed to marketing/sales? Also, your website on mobile looks a bit rough. Might want to get that checked out 👍

@antdke thank you for such detailed feedback. Papyrus was developed in collaboration with ELT experts to train the AI algorithm. It’s also based on unsupervised machine learning techniques. So to answer your question - it’s more advanced than Hemingway. At the moment the tool is available as a web application, we did not launch mobile version just yet. But it’s on our roadmap!

This looks like it would be really useful! I used to work as a TEFL teacher. It's hard to find texts written for different levels of English fluency... and very difficult to create your own texts and get the reading level right. A tool like this would save teachers a lot of time.

It’s the most advanced CEFR analyser ever created. I wish I had this tool many years ago when I worked for a insurance company and had to proofread many a letter to see if they were at the clients proficiency level.

I tried to access your website in my phone to read what is Papyrus and maybe sign in but it turns out it's not responsive and can't even read it...

Hi Product Hunt, We created Papyrus to help, especially educational publishers, quickly assess the reading level of a piece of text. Our AI devs are pretty happy with the results they were able to achieve. Feedback from pro authors helped us fine tune ML algorithm. They were also positive about the result.
