Hello Product Hunt! I'm Nicholas, founder and CEO of Passportal, a Ukrainian startup. ✈️ Passportal is a flights metasearch engine that shows travel requirements based on user's passport and visa situation. It allows to find routes through visa-free transit airports, see additional requirements and increase the chances of successful boarding. With Passportal, you have access to available routes, tickets and information in one place - without spending hours on tens of different websites. Our product was inspired by the problems that we faced ourselves, later we discovered that many people encounter the same type of problems and questions about the flights. Example: even if you have a visa to your destination country, it is not a fact that the cheapest tickets will allow you to get there, since transit countries may not let you in. With our help, you can see requirements in advance without wasting money on a ticket. 🌍 We strive to unlock hassle-free travel for everyone, regardless of passport. My first thought on seeing this - I would love to see a collab with https://atlys.com (Cc @mohaknahta) I think your info + their info would unlock so much of the world. Super psyched for this! Gave it a try with a few combos and have some feedback. re: "Support is great. Feedback is even better." Just random thoughts - - Would love/prefer to enter my passport/visa situation prior to searching for flights. I'm not 100% sure you can handle my situation, so would click away if presented flights first, then passports/visa after. - Loading animation for flight search looks v cool, I dig it. Would love the page to dim a bit more so I can see it better :) - showing first 3 flights then a email is a great paywall, love the sneak peak. - My instinct was to look for a FAQ/more info/examples - I'd love to see some examples of complex situations you can handle (e.g. Nepal Passport + EU Visa + India Visa) I'd probably share more with my friends if I saw it could handle those situations on the landing page. We will definitely explore the possibility of a collab, this sounds interesting. - We will make passport/visa block accessible right away, to see if users are not distracted by it. Our previous user research showed that this was the case with this block - Made a task, will be done, thanks! - We hope this will encourage users to register, as we need stats, still experimenting :) - We will make FAQ soon, good idea - What do you mean? I believe you can enter these documents and see the results? Re: Just meant like on the landing page, seeing some examples of users that have used it. I don't know many of my friends exact situation, but if I see 'Kathy' from 3 countries with 4 visa's was able to use it, I'll be able to share with friends with confidence. Adding complex user examples would potentially allow me (the user) to 'see' potential use cases/futures. Not sure if that would work but just an idea :) Thinking of a user case where someone with a 'strong' Passport lands on your page, they might not really have a use for this right away, but maybe would share with friends if they see examples/user personas.

@daniel_kelly8 First of all thank you for the first comment! We do not require, store or process any data besides the country of your passport (visa/permit/etc), no numbers and no proof of your documents are needed for the information check.

@tulop_rotafe1 We collect very little sensitive user information (passport country), we do not ask for serial numbers, legal name, or any proof. The issue of information protection is important to us, we do our best to ensure that everything that user provides to us stays safe.
