PastaDrop is the future of pasta purchasing and sending and the solution to the pasta problems of the past. In other words, ship pasta to friends without knowing how much you’re sending

@michaelpkramer PastaDrop was a pop-up site with an opt-in shipping membership noted to work across the Meh network of sites. The membership was not set up to cancel when the site was shut down by design because it was network-wide. After noting the possibility for confusion when shutting Pasta Drop (we did not explicitly say it was a pop-up), we proactively cancelled a few dozen memberships who had yet to use it elsewhere. We figured they could always sign up again if the cancelation was in error. Each of our sites has point of entry to the global membership and one click cancellation: https://meh.com/membership for instance (log in for cancellation)
If you only used membership at PastaDrop and we did NOT auto-cancel your membership then something has gone wrong and I'm sorry for the confusion. We thought we solved for this path and we will refund you. Please email support (at) meh.com and explain or link this message or mention me.

This is fantastic and I am most definitely becoming a member and plan on sending a ridiculous amount of noods. The copywriting is flawless. Now real talk: since you are only offering 1 product drop at a time and it's currently sold-out, maybe a pop up to capture emails to announce the next drop? I want to include in my newsletter today but I fear if I send my people here now and they can't take action, they might miss the whole opportunity.
send with love,
noodqueen (new user name. felt cute, might delete later)
Thanks for the upvotes everyone!
Our first drop is tracking to sellout later today. Weekly schedule and next one launches Monday at 11am eastern.
now that it's discovered by the PastaDrop community:
there's a hidden twist / social experiment element in play. you have to find out from the friend you sent it to how much pasta was received. a bonus social distant friend interaction is the idea

Really, what's not to like???

Love it, good stuff! The style reminds me of SendLitter.com
@ken_hammond1 nice, hadn't seen that one; it's very well done. The added feature here is "randomized amounts of pasta" (with gradually more clarity on that feature as we go; earlier customers enjoying it as a surprise)
