Hey Hunters! I have a habit for some time now, and today I am making a product out of it! Every weekend for some time now, I research about patents. I got interested in patents a few years ago while explaining the "Patent in-fragment" concept to a non-techie. They were curious about a friend's company that has filed a patent. That day I came home and for the first time found myself looking into patents. And I won't lie, it is a complicated world out there. I wish it was easy to find and consume the information; it's information overload out there tbh. Today I am taking my own practice and putting it out there. Mostly for 2-3 reasons: 1. Did you know you can keep an eye on what your competitors are up to? Or if they innovated something new? 2. Did you know you can find companies to partner with and grow your company? 3. It is super helpful to be aware of who owns what patent and how this impacts your company! I built PatentsLib in order to create an easy way to stay up to date with all the new patents and companies that have filed patents recently. I collect the data myself, manually. I also have my own list that I have read in last years. It is not scripted or scraped from the web. This sounds like a really useful tool, especially for startups. I'm curious about the data collection process. How do you ensure the accuracy and relevance of the patents you curate? Any plans for future features or integrations with other platforms, @devatbsh?

hey @ezshine thanks! Let me address each points separately :) Data collection process: I personally curate the data manually, it helps me focus on quality. Relevance: Once you subscribe, I send you a short form to specify your preferences. Based on that, I create the personalised list. Future plans: Currently, I'm focusing on providing a quality as well as relevant list. I don't have any immediate plans for platform integrations. I think I want to evolve the product based on customer feedback and needs.
