Pet-sitting services today can cost as much as $1,000/week, why not have pet parents help one another? Users on Pawsible can browse nearby pet parents who are willing to pet-sit mutually. They send an invite, schedule a pet-sit and return the favor when free.

@oleksii_burlakov Right now, we just encourage all users to explore who's around them, take a look at other people's profiles and the info about their pets, and get chatting! We're rolling out more features like availability of the week, user's pet-sitting experience and their pets' characteristics to better help everyone find the best match. Stay tuned! :)

I love this idea! As a dog owner, I know how stressful (and expensive) finding a pet sitter can be, so having a trusted network of local pet parents sounds super helpful. How do you handle trust and safety—do users get verified or reviewed?

@jonurbonas We want to implement user verification and sitting reviews that once we have some sitting events going! We are now in the process of implementing user verification with a video taken with their pets, and we give them a badge once verified! We definitely can do a lot more on the security side, such as insurance coverage - but we are still at a mvp stage and not enough fundings to do things like those yet but we are working on it!

As a pet owner, I know how tough it can be to find reliable and affordable care. Pawsible makes so much sense! Are there any plans to introduce vetting or verification features for added security?
