Hey Product Hunters! Wes here, one of the makers behind Payd. The gig economy is taking the world by storm, but unless you work through one of the established marketplaces (Upwork, Freelancer.com, etc.), there's no easy way for you as a freelancer to guarantee you'll get paid. Most people write contracts and structure payment plans to cover their backs, but there will always be the uncertainty of whether or not you'll actually get your "final" payment. And if you don't get it, it takes too much time and money to fight for it. That's why Kyle and I created Payd. In just a few clicks, you can send a simple contract, structure your payment plan, and request money to go into and out of escrow for one simple fee. We're just getting started.
