The onboard is magical, no contest there. But how well this suit for an asynchronous communication tool like whatsapp is debatable. Groups, direct replies to messages and maintaining the thread of conversation is what I will be looking for. I am @rptony in peach

On day 2 and still super into it. Here are some initial thoughts:
Things I like:
- It's simple, you don't need to overthink whether you're oversharing, posting too often, etc. like you do on Instagram or Twitter
- I love the ability to "boop" someone, the throw-back to the Facebook poke that we all wore out when it first launched
- The random questions you can answer remind me of the viral emails that used to go around in the AOL and Hotmail days that allowed you to get to know your friends better
Things that could be better:
- I wish there was a cheat sheet of the magic words somewhere in the app so I don't have to google it every time I want to use one (until I memorize them)
- It feels a bit chaotic right now on the home screen, perhaps new updates could be pushed to the top instead of them being scattered through your friends list
- Once more people join and your friends list grows, there will be a definite need for more organization on the home screen
- I'd like to be able to edit a post after posting it, not just have the option to delete it
I'll say this much - it's definitely more exciting and fun to use than ello was, so I hope people keep jumping on the bandwagon!

Finally an app that makes it fun to update your status not just cruise everyone else's. Loving it and feel like Im way more likely to engage with randos just for the lol's then I would on any other platform. Feature request; I wanna auto make shout gifs. Keep up the good peach.
