Edit: Actually, I suspect this is more likely to beat the Coolest Cooler @ $13,285,226 than to beat Exploding Kitten's 220k backers.. but good luck!
The interface remind me a little bit of Google Glass. In a good way. I always felt they did a good thing in wearables focusing on a timeline of past, present and future. This looks awesome. +1 for color eInk :)

So Pebble Time broke the Kickstarter record yesterday and shot up over $15m now, past Coolest Cooler's $13.2m previous record.
What impresses me most is... in the Kickstarter community we all know there's a lull mid-campaign. After sitting at $11m for 3 days, Pebble Time broke $12m and then they released the Pebble Steel reward tiers, and announced smart bands. Genius. It broke the mid-campaign lull and shot them about $2m past the previous Kickstarter record of $13.2m
This is a bit of a #gamechanger in terms of how we develop our Kickstarter launch strategies.

I got one of these for my birthday in November and have worn it almost every day since. The screen looks good and you don't really notice that it's different from an LCD (e.g. animations are very fast). Love not having to worry about charging it, I basically just wait until I get the 20% left indicator, and then I'll charge it while I'm working, knowing that even if I forget about it until I get the 10% left indicator I'll still have at least a day of solid usage remaining.
One thing I figured to do, which I don't think was covered in any manuals but really improved my experience of the watch/phone combo: Put the phone permanently on Do-Not-Disturb (apart from calls perhaps) and then you don't get the double notification reminder of the phone vibrating in your pocket followed by the watch vibrating, and you only have one device to switch to Do-Not-Disturb when you go to bed at night. Brilliant!

I am in love my Pebble Time! Until a time where Android Wear/Apple Watch can compete with this device in terms of price and battery life, I'm sticking with it :)
