Most managers learn to have hard conversations by having them badly. Peopling gives you a private space to practice.AI-powered voice roleplay for the conversations that actually matter: the feedback you've been avoiding, the alignment talk you keep rescheduling, the 1:1 that's quietly going sideways. Built by a coach who's worked with engineers and managers across Stripe, Netflix, Roblox, Headspace, and more. Less theory. More reps.

minimalist phone: creating folders
This is a good idea – esp. when you are an introvert like me and had to come up with 5 possible scenarios and answers to each of them. Now, you do not have to retain everything in your head but split parts. 😅 introverted people know :D

@leah_dyke Yes! I have these in the form of "personas." You can select from the pre-baked ones I have per scenario or you can create your own!
Hi there! Congrats on the launch, the idea looks really strong and I’d love to try it out.
One thing I noticed is that it’s not possible to access the app without a LinkedIn account. That could create significant drop-off, especially for users who are just exploring or not ready to commit.
It might be worth considering a lighter entry point to let users experience the value before asking for that level of commitment.
Happy to share a few more thoughts or do a quick UX audit if that’s helpful :)

@gaston_ux Yeah, absolutely understand this is a problem. I'm a single person shop so I didn't want to deal with a bunch of spam on the app and LinkedIn and Github are on brand. I think I might expand to Google auth, would that work?
@kent_willsThat makes sense, especially if you're trying to keep things lean as a solo builder.
One simple approach could be allowing Google auth, but limiting certain actions until users complete a small step (like adding basic profile info or interacting with the product). That way you reduce friction without fully opening the door to spam.
Another option is lightweight activity-based validation, where users unlock features as they engage, instead of blocking them upfront.
Happy to share a couple more ideas or take a quick look at the flow if that’s useful

@gaston_ux Yeah, I think this is more a "what do I want to deal with" decision vs what is going to reduce the barrier to entry. I'm likely going to expand to google auth and hope that I don't have to ratchet that back down due to malicious use. The only scope that I pull from Github and LI right now is name, email and photo.
Peopling
@gaston_ux I feel like I am starting to see a pattern that people want more than LI and Github, let me throw Google into the mix. Thanks! Keep the feedback coming!

@kaito_builds fully dynamic responses! The agent will cede ground if you are navigating the conversation well or make it harder if you aren't. Give it a shot, you'll see how dynamic the conversation is.
Interesting idea. Can the service model communication styles? For example, I need to practice negotiations with a tough negotiator that I’m afraid of. I describe to the service who I’m going to negotiate with and what kind of person they are, and it adjusts its tone to match that profile?
Peopling
@natalia_iankovych Yes! You can create a custom persona with those traits to match your needs. You can also create a personal scenario too if the current ones don't match. And finally you can use my negotiator evaluator for the coach feedback.
@kent_wills Sounds cool!
The concept and use cases are excellent. How defencible is this to people simply feeding a good prompt into an LLM and get a similar result (albeit not as polished)? Is it packaging and UX, or do you have more complex app-level scaffolding?
Peopling
@ted_jordan More complex app level scaffolding, but to be honest I am running a one man shop because I am not sure it will be defensible in the long term. That being said, there are already billion dollar products out there for a similar space (but with primary revenue in sales coaching). That being said, what I have built is dynamic and scalable combined with expert insight in a way that would take a lot of set up in claude/chatgpt advanced voice mode. I also run evals to make sure the agent is adhering to top line principles and leverage the state of the art voice models with emotional cues.
