PepperTab is a browser extension that will replace the page you see when you open a new tab, with a personalized dashboard. You can get weather updates, take notes, create todos, see events from your Google Calendar...etc on your new tab page. You can also see refreshing wallpapers every time you open a new tab.

This is super cool, I can keep track of my daily activities and ToDo list whenever I open a new tab in chrome with this extension. Also I was used PH extension before but now I can get PH with a one click from Pepper tab too.

@salman57sk1 Yes, planning to add more widgets and allow users to select only the ones they need. Check the poll below. Right now, there is no specific feature request page, but anybody can give feedback or suggestions at hello@peppertab.com

This is awesome! I love it! It's super clean! I wish we had another option besides Blockstack though. Also, will there eventually be a way to connect multiple calendars? And will notes ever support basic Markdown? Overall, it's really cool! Congrats on the launch!

Thank you @noahraskin_ for the feedback. By using Blockstack, I can let users store their notes and todos data in a secure storage location of their preference, guaranteeing them their privacy. Connecting multiple calendars, I am not sure if its possible easily. I will consider this for next release. But, notes support Markdown even now. You can use #, ## etc to create headings, - (hyphen) to create lists...etc. Plus if you select a word, it will give you a toolbar to customize. I think this feature is not very evident now - need to work on that.

This is by far the best new tab extension I've seen so far. Would love some customization to the background image, like being able to choose unsplash collections. Adding custom news feeds would be a very nice widget. Like techcrunch's rss feed or hackernews. Thank you very much for building this and making it free ❤️

@ferminrp Thanks a lot for the feedback. Right now you can change the background, but only from a set of selected ones. But I like your idea of choosing an unsplash collection. I will consider it for next release. :-) Other widgets like news are also in the plan. Need to figure out a way to have more widgets without making it cluttered.
