If you need to quickly and automatically edit a couple of dozens of images, this app is your go-to choice. You get great results quickly and don't have to do anything but drag&drop and then export the final results.
Pros:Easy to use, you get great results quickly, cool for batch processing
Cons:Recalculates results every time you apply changes
This is an excellent program for amature photographers.

Just picked this up as part of the Photography 5-day deal. Ran a few photos thru is and absolutely wowwed by the results. Will make this part of my editing processes for all my photos.

I was a little skeptical at the claims made, but when I took a chance
and bought PhotoLemur 3, I was very pleased.
Pros:Automatically produces the shot that I wished I had time to
adjust the camera settings to.

Photolemur is great for taking a bunch of images and leaving the computer chewing on them to make them better. Very good at improving exposure issues, and some other typical fails.
Output is JPEG, so you are not going to want to do anything other than crop the other side of PL processing.
Good for images to be posted to the web, social media, etc. There are other tools if you want to print or publish high res, and indeed if you want control of the output -essentially you just have an intensity of correction control in PL.
Pros:Easy to use
Cons:Little control on outcomes (but it mostly does a good job), not that quick
