PHP Secure’s intelligent code scanner analyzes PHP code for dangerous security vulnerabilities and empowers teams to ship with confidence. With PHP Secure, you’ll stop paying for expensive security specialists and sleep better knowing that your site and data are safe.
Awesome looking platform. Definitely something PHP devs should use for every project!
Are there any size limitations (in MB or number of files) to what the app can scan?
Much of my past experience is with the Magento platform (Adobe Commerce) and it's got thousands of files and it's a rather large package. Would this be scannable too?
Last question - is there a standard format to upload or would it work with any of the noted platforms as well as custom PHP apps?

@anthony_latona Hello Anthony! Powerful questions! I went after the developer...
@anthony_latona Hey, Anthony! Thank you for your support and stellar questions!
You can upload one big file up to 3 MB in size. OR you can upload up to 15 smaller files each sized under 3 MB.
As for the formats that our scanner can process, they are:
- zip
- rar
- gz
- tar
- and, of course, php
What do you say? Would that be sufficient for you code scanning needs personally?
@julia_kot I think that would work for many typical situations. The fact is, when you're using a huge platform, you're probably not testing the core files every time and can test your plugins, extensions and whatever code you've added. Also, most devs on a team are working on a few files at a time per day so they probably would upload 1 or a few files at a time to check.
Thanks for the info!
@anthony_latona Yes, that's what we thought, too. That's why we've decided on such size and quantity limitations.
That said, any feedback is welcomed here! If you have any suggestions and ideas on how our scanner could meet your needs and solve your concerns better, I'll be so happy to hear from you! :)

Hey there, As a PHP developer, even before really testing your product, I can say its very cool and sounds promising and congrats on your awesome launch 🥳🚀
May I also ask, does it support Laravel or its for just Pure PHP?
@thisismehrab Hey there Mehrab, we really appreciate the kind words :)
Great question. With this launch, we're already supporting PHP and Laravel, as well as CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla. We plan on expanding even more in the future!
Is there anything in particular you'd like to see in the future?

@julia_zakharova2 Is this product only work with PHP or other tech stack as well?
@julia_zakharova2@avinashvagh1 PHP Secure’s scanner is capable of analyzing websites built on PHP, including the Laravel framework, as well as CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla. We do plan on including Java and other programming languages as well in the future.
I haven't used PHP since 2015 when I was working with Piwik. I think PHP Is heavily under utilized but as a Node.js and .NET dev I don't see myself going back anytime soon!
Great product though, reminds me of SonarQube back in my corporate days!
@kingromstar oh hi Rami! I remember you! Thanks for your feedback!
Can you tell me why you prefer node over PHP? :D
Report
Maker
@kingromstar Rami, thanks for coming in. It's okay to change something in your life to become a better person. You changed your programming language, and I was still working as a secretary at the time.
But we took Node.js and .NET with the team)
Thanks for the response! Any question or suggestion you have is welcome.
@theological It's the same language on both the front end and the back end. Also, the node_modules ecosystem means there are millions of libraries with tested/proven functionality that already exist so I don't have to solve these common problems myself.
Also, i believe Node was more performant back then but they might be equal nowadays, who knows!
@kingromstar aaah I see. Thanks for such a detailed response!
I myself am an old-fashioned (lover) boy ahahha so I really enjoy the like. Idk the feel of PHP ig, I can't really describe it. Like I just really enjoy working with PHP but yeah it has been suggested a bunch of times to me by my coding laddies to try out Node, hence my question to you :D
I might give it a go in the future!
Hold on a second -- are you a FullStack Dev? :o Am I truly seeing a unicorn in the wild? :D

@julia_kot@julia_zakharova2@theological@kristina_ka Congrats team on the launch. I've been seeing you guys being very active and persistent in your efforts toward this and I hope it turns out great today! I wish you all the best, take the top spot :)
@neelptl2602 Thank you for your feedback! We'll continue working on ensuring PHP Secure is the best tool for securing PHP code. Isn't it convenient that the scanner does real-time detection and you don’t need to install any extra software on your PC?

@neelptl2602 We had a very short sprint. Nevertheless, the marketing idea requires validation. And today marks the culmination of this validation.
Thanks for dropping by! 🔥
Congrats on the launch guys!!
Seems like a very important & innovative tool for developers.👍
It's best to assess your code early, on for risks.🛡️No sign-up & card details is really cool too!!
@shikha_singh15 exactly! Thank you for the support ❤️ By the way, I'm interested to hear your opinion. At what stage do you think a code should be checked for vulnerabilities? While the developer is still writing it or after it's been uploaded to production?
Report
Maker
@shikha_singh15 Thank you for appreciating the idea of PHP Secure!
We also do not store scanned code, which is safe for our users.
Feel free to share your opinion. We will be glad to hear it! 👍🏼
@shikha_singh15@julia_zakharova2 What is also important is that PHP Secure guarantees complete privacy and confidentiality of your code and vulnerability reports. Our scanner is fully end-to-end encrypted!
@iskandarchacra Thanks, Iskandar! The ease of use and affordable pricing are one of our top priorities. Glad that it is being appreciated!
Have you tested your code for vulnerabilities with our scanner? If so, how comprehensive did you find the report when it comes to the vulnerabilities found and recommendations to fix them?
