@coreyo yayyy! Thank you!! I KNOW it is a HUGE pain. I remember the days (just a few months ago!) when we would spend the whole weekend each editing our 360 vlogs. On Pie for iPhone we definitely tried to constrain the editing process as much as possible (short clips, single screen for doing everything rather than multiple steps) because we talked to so many people who had so much stress surrounding 360 video editing. We've still got a long way to go but we're excited :)
Just a note near the end of the day to say *THANK YOU* to everyone who has upvoted, shared this page around, downloaded the app, and tried out making 360 videos/slices. This has spiraled way beyond what we expected, with people downloading the app today from 88 different countries, and making truly beautiful and funny stuff.
I uploaded a thank you video to Pie as we crossed the 500 upvote threshold: https://pie.app.link/HFM6LnkDjy

Looks amazing! Any plans to release this on Android too?
Hi @mr_ede. Yes we really want to offer the same experience to Android users too. We decided to do one platform after the other to learn from the first app we release. The choice between iOS and Android has been really tough! We don't have a date yet for our Android app, but this is our next priority.
Hi @khaliphj - that's a really good question. We didn't always have this, but once we developed 'slices' (which let anyone create a video on Pie, not just those with a 360 camera) we saw that they worked so much better when shared with friends. In other words, it has evolved into much more of a many-to-many sharing structure than when we started, and that's made a lot easier by using people's Facebook connections so when they join Pie they can already see their friends' videos. We've had mixed feedback on that approach and, above all else, we care about giving our users a great experience so we'll definitely let you know if we decide to move to a different login method! Thank you for your feedback!
