Pinglight fills the gap between simple uptime pingers and heavy observability stacks. It gives SaaS founders just two monitor types, uptime checks and heartbeat check-in URLs for cron jobs, plus clean hosted status pages that show any combination of app and job health. No complex dashboards, just a tiny safety net with 1‑minute checks and founder‑friendly pricing.

Hey everyone, thanks for checking out Pinglight 👋
I built this because I kept finding myself manually watching my other products checking if the app was up, wondering if nightly backups actually ran, and hacking together little scripts just to feel safe. I really wanted one clean, simple status page I could glance at to see: “Is my app up?” and “Did my background jobs run?”
Most tools I tried were either just uptime pingers, cron monitors, or full-blown observability platforms that felt like overkill (and were pricey) for a small SaaS. So Pinglight is my attempt at the middle ground. A straightforward way to do both uptime checks and heartbeat monitoring for background jobs, with a status page on top, at a price that doesn’t feel like another big SaaS bill.
If you’re in the same boat juggling a few products and wanting a small, inexpensive safety net I encourage you to try out PingLight.
I’d love to hear what you think.
