Hey everyone! 👋
I'm a sports fan who got tired of jumping between a dozen different sites every day just to keep up with football, cricket, tennis, and everything else I follow. There wasn't one place that pulled it all together — so I started building Pittugram as a personal project to fix that for myself.
It works like Hacker News, but for sports: links get pulled in automatically from major sports RSS feeds across the world (currently 250+ sources), and anyone can also submit a link directly. The community votes stories up or down and discusses them in threaded comments, so what rises to the top is a mix of what's new and what people actually care about — not just whatever an algorithm decides to push.
What started as "just for me" turned into something I thought other sports fans might actually want too, so I decided to open it up.
A few things I focused on:
No noise — no autoplay video, no clickbait push notifications, just links and discussion.
Broad coverage — football, cricket, tennis, F1, esports, and more, with filters by sport, source, and publication.
Built solo, so it's still evolving — search, filtering, and the ranking algorithm have all been refined based on what actually felt useful day to day.
Would love your feedback — what's missing, what sports/publications you'd want added, anything that feels off. This is genuinely a "built by one fan, for other fans" project, so real feedback shapes where it goes next.
Thanks for checking it out!
