Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Pixo started with a moment I think everyone has lived through: a friend handed her phone to her mom to show one photo… and her mom just kept swiping. The obvious fix is a vault app — but every vault app has a big padlock icon on your home screen. That icon itself announces "the secret stuff is in here." Nobody even needs to open it. So I built a vault that doesn't look like a vault. Pixo is disguised as a fully working calculator (you can genuinely use it to calculate). Punch in your secret code and your private photos, videos and documents open up. To anyone else, it's the most boring app on your phone. A few things I care about: 🔒 Passcode + fingerprint unlock, media hidden from your gallery 🎭 Decoy icons — it can also pretend to be a notes or settings app 📁 Not just photos — videos and documents too 🚫 No ads in the free version. There's an optional Pro tier for more storage — that's the business model, not your attention. Honest note: this is built for the "someone borrowed my phone" problem — the real threat most of us face — not for stopping forensic labs.
