Have you ever wanted to host a party across a bunch of wildly different time zones and locations? No? Well we have and now you can! Host a pizza party for your team, no matter where they are; you tell us when and we’ll take care of the rest.
we used pizza time with our 35+ person remote team spread across the u.s. and a bunch of countries. it worked great!
it was a fun thing to do with the team, and without pizzatime running the process, it would've been a logistical nightmare/impossibility.
i think every remote team should try it!
As a remote team, it's always been tough to find fun things to do as a group. A couple years ago we tried a remote pizza party on our own and it was a blast—so we wanted to make it possible for other teams to do it too, without the headache of coordinating it!
Also, thanks to our friends over at Animalz for being very willing test subjects for us :)
Really looks like something remote workers would enjoy! Why don't you consider posting on https://remote.tools?

Our team used pizzatime last week for our first ever remote pizza party and it was AWESOME. The setup took very little work from us (just generate a team link through the app and have interested team members sign up). Pizzas magically appeared at each person's doorstep at the time of the party (give or take about 20 minutes for some), and we enjoyed pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner across 5 countries and 7 different timezones. Highly recommended for remote team building!
Extra bonus: Each person can decide whether pineapple belongs on pizza (it doesn't) without their order affecting anyone else 🙌

Zero user support. We created a wrong date for our party, by mistake. The day before (over 24 hours prior) we sent emails and left voice mails to pizzatime asking them to reschedule since this was plenty of time (even if it wasn't, it would be nice for someone to reach back out to us and help us resolve this). Instead, total and complete silence. Phone calls go into voicemail, emails (we sent 3) are not answered. As a result, we had to cancel our pre-New Year party. Very unprofessional and poor experience.
@dsogoloff I’m sorry you didn't receive a reply as quickly as you'd hoped. Unfortunately, we are a small team running on holiday hours so our support is running a bit slower this time of year. We did follow up as soon as we saw your email and attempt to rectify the situation by rescheduling your party or refunding. In the future we hope to be able to provide shorter response times to support inquiries.

This needs better customer support. My company used Pizzatime for our virtual holiday party at lunch. When my pizza had not arrived by the scheduled time and I had 0 communication from pizzatime, my only option for communication was to reply to the confirmation email of my order. I didn't receive a reply back until 3 hours later stating they had no record of my email (the one they used to confirm my order and I had replied to to communicate with them) and that they wanted to know my email for the account. After I replied there's was no response until after 9pm saying they were trying to find out what happened but couldn't contact the pizza place (I'm sure it was closed) and that they would reach out to me when they find out what happened. That's the last I heard from them. No pizza, no communication or very lack there of...

@david_schofield Hi David, we're sorry you had this experience, and we really appreciate you leaving this feedback. We are looking into developing a support experience that enables our team to reach out to people who aren't going to receive their pizza (as opposed to waiting for you to reach out). There's no excuse for what happened, but the lack of communication also comes down to the time of the year; we were slammed with orders this year, so it took a while to deal with each order. Again, I appreciate you leaving this feedback so we can improve our process :)

There's not a lot of ways you could make pizza better, but automatically delivering it to my door and helping coordinate the most festive video meeting with my coworkers I've ever been a part of somehow elevates it. 11/10.
