A superb idea to not only track what interests you, but allows you to buy and and make sure it shows up when you need it (not before, taking up limited space which is already messy and certainly not after, costing you money).

I have used Pocketdoor as a homeowner and as a Designer and am impressed by the efficiency from both hats

Pros:

Ease of collecting options, photos, spec info Better communication between parties Easier decision-making when choices are grouped

Cons:

That Pocketdoor didn’t exist earlier 😊

@nickrichards the android app is already in process. we decided to prioritize the iPhone app because our early test/beta users were 2-3x more likely to be on iPhone. (but I much prefer Android and we are already pretty far along on that front...stay tuned!)

@aya_takeuchi no, definitely not. this was a key principal for us, and frankly made things harder. when we have issues, they are often related to trying to get the images and products for items across potentially millions of web sites (both e-commerce, manufacturer, and design sites). there are a lot of wish lists out there on specific sites, but the vast majority of projects require products from many different sources. you can also add items or images that do not have an online source by manually entering information and adding ordering instructions. this is pretty common for things like lumber or items that are already in the home. (one of our first projects included a manually added antique stove that was going to remain in the kitchen.) as we grow and improve our browser buttons and mobile apps, adding from diverse sources will get better and better.
