@lachlankirkwood definitely. A node should eventually be able to be linked to external items like Github issues or Slack channels. You could think of them as branches themselves.
@lachlankirkwood the potential to see the flow of work from high level objectives to low level Github issues all in one visual map is a powerful concept
LOVE the landing page. Does a great job of showing the product.
This method of visualizing a roadmap is a really interesting. Most project management tools don't manage dependencies very easily, often burying them somewhere deep within a card or task list.
@rrhoover@saxonfletcher This should be submitted to some best landing page collection somewhere, because I had a great idea from this for a side project 🙏
Hi everyone! Super excited to launch Poda to the Product Hunt community today.
I started Poda after noticing the difficulties product teams have when trying to communicate the why before the what. Why is the work I'm spending my time on so important in moving the company forward?
Poda is not trying to be a project management tool but more of a planning/strategic tool for product focused teams.
Would love to know what you think :)

Hey, this is great. Is it still supported? Not much activity since 2019 but I really want to be able to rely on this product (started using it already)
Love it! This product is almost. Just need the ability to customize progress, change objectives, and a bit more polish!
Throw in a few 100 integrations too :D
@rayliverified Thanks Ray! Mind expanding a bit on the progress and objectives points? Since this is a tree based structure, it would be fairly easy to show how "complete" a node is depending on the status of its children (and their children).

@saxonfletcher Exactly! More specifically, each task should have the ability to set a customized completion percentage and support subtasks that can be delegated to other team members.
Once that feature is added, you can build on top of that summary reports and timeline projections.
For example, a task with 4 subtasks could have deliverable deadlines and if any of them are not met, an integration event would be triggered that notifies the appropriate stakeholders.

This is really cool! It meshes very nicely with some thoughts that I had about better roadmapping in general: https://matthewstrom.com/writing...
