There wasn't anything on the home page to indicate how it works, but I personally think auto replies (no matter how they're are done) make the user look clueless. If anyone scrolls your tweets & replies tab, it's pretty easy to see you're using a bot. And there are only so many variations you could dream up, in an attempt to look authentic.
