Hi @thetylerhayes, by launching custom new user experiences for particular traffic sources (referrals vs ads vs organic, etc) we've seen our customers increase their conversion rates by 200-400%. With Primer, you can do this without a release. There isn't anything else that enables mobile apps to have custom new user flows that can be changed anytime.
Having done growth for mobile apps for more than 3 years now, we've found that both our most impactful and most frequent ab testing was done within the new user experience of an app. With current solutions, if you want to swap the order of your screens, launch entire new flows, or make any other huge changes you still have to do a release and build out those changes yourself. Unless you know what you want to test ahead of time, current solutions still force you to do releases to make changes.
What if you get an idea for a new flow right now? Or what if a new ad campaign you're running suddenly starts outperforming everything else? With Primer, you can try out that idea or launch a specific new user flow for that ad campaign within minutes.
That's still not possible with existing solutions. Partly because they are not laser focused on new user experiences and partly because they lack the ability to customize the experience by traffic source.
Focusing exclusively on new user flows enables Primer customers to:
- Get a head start with our library of already optimized native screens that can be customized for your app
- Create custom new user experiences for each traffic source
- Make massive changes and revamp entire flows for truly great gains in conversion
And do all of the above without releases.
@awchristoph IIRC they've done this at scale with some clients already. +1 though. Would love to hear some specific success stories if @kamobit and @bradenflynn have ones they can share.
@staringispolite@awchristoph we can't name the exact clients ;) but we have a few great examples:
We're crazy excited about personalizing for FB ads. One of our customers is matching the product on their app's welcome screen to the FB ad. It's nearly 2x their conversions. And all they had to do was create a new flow in our visual editor (takes 2-15 min) and then drop in the link in the ad.
The really awesome part of the above example is that they don't have to do a new release when a new ad starts working. As soon as something works they can launch a flow for that ad and instantly improve their conversions. Easier for the user, more $ for the app developer.
Referrals are showing around a 60% increase by showing a welcome from the friend. Developer just makes a call for a link with our SDK and we automatically attach the user properties in the friend's new user experience.
