Every founder I know starts the same way and that is with an idea they hope someone wants, then finds out months and a lot of code later that nobody did. I've built stuff nobody wanted. Spent months on my last project, launched it, heard crickets. The idea felt clever in my head but it turns out that's not the same as anyone actually needing it. The problem was never building; it was picking ideas by guessing instead of starting from a real, felt problem. Problem Sight is a community-curated database of problems worth solving. People post the painpoints they hit, the community upvotes and validates the real ones, and founders browse them to find opportunities grounded in actual demand. Think Product Hunt, but for the problems before the products. You'll find threads across SaaS, dev tools and fintech problems, with more added daily. It's free. Took it for a quick spin and the curated pain point feeds feel genuinely useful instead of spammy. Liked that each problem links back to a thread where founders discuss traction, makes it easy to spot what people are actually testing right now.

The long-term vision is to help founders discover validated opportunities by aggregating and analyzing discussions from across the web, while always linking back to the original source for context and evidence. Searched a few niches and was surprised how many real pain points people have already posted up there with solid detail. Could be a real time-saver before you sink hours into validating something from scratch.
