Late comment: in the US, it is rare for a patient to have access to their scan data prior to having some kind of communication with their medical professional. This is especially true if the scan reveals a need for further medical care. Having Profound examine existing scans is unlikely to reveal that a diagnosis was incorrect or uncover a concomitant and serious condition. (Just an assumption based on the data available to the engine and what can be learned from a scan alone.) What it certainly can do is find things that doctors weren't looking for and would not normally order a scan to look for: low bone density, non-secreting microadenomas, and a long list of things. Some of this is treatable. Some of it you watch. But without a tool like Profound, you've paid for a relatively expensive medical test, chosen to accept the minor risks with such scanning, yet you can't access to all of the scan data in a useful format.
