ProjectQty combines 41 free construction material calculators with five browser-local project guides. Every calculator exposes its formula, editable assumptions, ordering rounds, worked examples, and scoped sources. It requires no account, keeps project data in the browser, and separates quantity math from supplier prices, delivery, labor, permits, and professional design.
Showing wastage percentages right inside each calculator with a simple toggle for different material types would save a lot of back-and-forth. Concrete and tile especially need that built into the assumptions rather than having to manually add a percentage.
@zekigaliplezk ProjectQty already shows waste allowance inside calculators and includes it in the math, but we don’t yet have material-type presets or a simple toggle for recommended waste ranges. That’s a good next improvement, especially for concrete and tile.
Concrete and rebar calculators are solid but you could add a built-in waste factor percentage field (with a sensible default like 10 percent) right on each form so we don't have to manually add it after getting the base number. Would save a step on every take-off.
