@sumitgoel Love this perspective! You're absolutely right - prompt engineering is becoming a core skill across industries!
Just like how everyone learned Excel or basic coding, systematic prompt engineering will be essential. That's exactly why I wanted to make it accessible with AI assistance and structured testing - democratizing what's currently an art form!
Would love to have you as a user! Try the demo and let me know what you think - especially curious about your experience with the AI-guided prompt generation vs the testing features!
Thank you for the vision and support!

This product really highlights in the built-in analytics and ability to automatically generate test suites. It’s inspiring to bring real software engineering principles to AI prompts.

@pulin_yuuu Thank you! You totally nailed the core philosophy - treating prompts with the same rigor we use for code!
The automated test suite generation has been the biggest game-changer. Just like we wouldn't ship code without unit tests, why ship prompts without systematic validation? The analytics help you understand what's actually working vs just guessing!
Are you coming from a software engineering background? Would love to hear your thoughts on other SE principles we could apply to prompt development - version control, CI/CD for prompts, etc.!
Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback!
That's so cool! I had a comparison with other prompt-engineering tools for my coding. Gotta say, much better result and much faster :)
Olvy
@peter_zhou_overflow That's exactly what I built PromptForge for! What other tools were you testing against? And what made the biggest difference - the AI-assisted generation, the speed, or something else?
This looks like a powerful tool for anyone working with AI prompts. The ability to craft, test, and evaluate prompts in a structured way—with built-in analysis tools—is incredibly valuable for improving accuracy and consistency. Great work on making prompt engineering more accessible and systematic! visit more

@e_commerce_ideas Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback!
You totally get the vision - moving prompt engineering from "art" to "science" with systematic testing and evaluation. The built-in analysis has been a game-changer for consistency across different models and use cases.

This is a super cool product! I can definitely relate to the pain point of having to prompt endlessly.
Olvy
@sean_er Yes! The endless prompt iteration cycle is SO frustrating!
That's exactly why I built the AI-assisted generation feature - instead of starting with a blank page every time, you tell it what you want and it crafts the initial prompt for you. Then the systematic testing helps you refine it properly!
What kind of prompting do you do most? Creative work, coding, analysis? Always curious about different use cases - helps me prioritize which features to build next!
Thanks for trying it out!
Huge congrats on the launch! 🎉
Just upvoted - this will definitely come in handy for our team's current project. Hoping to launch something soon as well, so I might be back here looking for support 😊 Keep building!

@ha_anh_nguyen Thank you so much! Really appreciate the upvote and support!
Love hearing it'll help your team's project - that's exactly why I built this! Would love to hear how it works for your use case once you try it
And absolutely - when you launch, I'll be here to support! The maker community has been incredible today, so always happy to pay it forward
Keep me posted on your launch - excited to see what you're building!
Congrats on the launch, Manav & team! 🚀 PromptForge 2 is looking to be a game-changer for serious prompt engineers. I especially love the test suites, versioning, and analytics. The built-in prompt feedback and edge-case testing really set it apart from basic editors.
Excited to see future updates like local model support (Ollama/LM Studio) and more LLM backends. Would also love to see collaboration features soon. This feels like the VS Code for prompt development.
Well done and wishing you continued success! 👏🔥

@andre_terzis1021 Wow, thank you for such thoughtful feedback! You really understand the vision!
"VS Code for prompt development" - that's EXACTLY what we're building! Love that you see it
The features you mentioned are spot-on priorities:
✅ Local model support (Ollama/LM Studio) - top of roadmap after Chris Messina's feedback!
✅ More LLM backends - expanding beyond Claude/GPT/Azure
✅ Collaboration features - systematic prompt engineering needs team workflows
The edge-case testing has been a game-changer for our users - finally moving beyond "does this work?" to "how robust is this really?"
Since you get the systematic approach - what's your current prompt workflow? Are you managing versions manually or have other tools?
Thanks for the amazing support! Comments like this fuel the roadmap!
