I ended up building PromptLocker because I kept discovering great AI prompts from a myriad of sources - prompt marketplaces, Midjourney, Twitter, YouTube, and even I even had a few I wrote that I liked. I found that the prompts I wanted to use or try were scattered across places like Twitter bookmarks, saved Youtube videos, various ChatGPT conversations, Midjourney, Leonardo AI, Notion, and the Notes app. I found Notion was helpful at first but every time I wanted to find something quickly - I found that I struggled to find what I was looking for. I just wanted something simple to use - and thought "What about 1Password but for Prompts?" and started to build it. I'm open to suggestions and ideas - it's my first time building an app like this so I have no doubt there's room to continue to improve and look forward to hear what the community thinks.

@promptlocker congrats on launch, does it export from ChatGPT? I have so many prompts from ChatGPT, but would be good I could save the useful ones in a place I could find them more easily. Just don't want to manually go through them!

@graeme_fulton Currently you have to add the prompts manually however I plan on building a chrome plugin that will allow for easier capturing and retrieval of prompts.
