Strikes the right balance between smart time tracking that requires minimal input and allowing for more fine-grained drilled-downs, if that’s your thing.
Pros:
Easy to set up, easy to manage, minimal input
Cons:
A mode to turn off the screens I’m not interested in would be great.

I really like Qbserve for me this is a better alternative than WakaTime. I can track more than with WakaTime alone. It is more privacy focused as all data is locally stored. On top it doesn't have a recurring subscription.
@vfdraganescu Qbserve's main alternative RescueTime costs $72/year or $9 per month ($108/year). Many other subscription-based time trackers are in the same price range.
It makes Qbserve not so expensive, and now there's 25% off until June, 30. There are cheaper options among standalone desktop time trackers but they have significantly less features.
