Hey Product Hunt!
Two years ago I was at a friend's wedding where the couple asked everyone to share photos via a WhatsApp group. The bride spent her honeymoon manually downloading hundreds of images and chasing people who "forgot to send." I thought: there has to be a better way.
QR PhotoShare is what I built. One QR code on a table card. Guests scan with their phone camera (no app), land on a clean upload page, and send photos straight to the couple's private gallery. The couple downloads everything after the wedding. That's it.
A few things I learned building this:
· QR beats apps. Every existing wedding photo-sharing app has the same fatal flaw: guests don't install it. QR works because the phone camera already decodes it — zero friction, zero instructions needed.
· One-time payment feels better than subscription. For a one-off event, charging monthly is weird. Flat fee from $16, 30-day auto-delete, done.
· Built entirely on Cloudflare. D1 + R2 + Workers + Workers AI (for AI-generated invitations). If you're building SaaS in 2026 and still paying AWS egress, we need to talk.
Would love your feedback — especially from anyone who's been through the "collecting guest photos" pain at any event. What's missing? What would make you use this at your next event?
