Hello Hunters!
I’m Lenny, one of the engineers here at the Quell team, and I'm excited to announce the release of Quell 8.0!
Quell is a lightweight caching solution for GraphQL queries. If you use GraphQL frequently as an engineer, you know the power of data retrieval with GraphQL and how it can lead to faster, more scalable apps. But you also know about some of the limitations around caching.
That's where Quell comes in. Quell aims to optimize the performance of applications on both client and server-sides by reducing server load and improving response times.
Quell parses GraphQL queries and caches them in order to minimize the number of requests needed to be sent over the network, making applications faster and more efficient.
With Quell 8.0, we've introduced a slew of new, impactful updates that will improve your implementation and workflow as a GraphQL developer. This includes adding a query context visualizer, major improvements to the client-side caching algorithm, reworking the existing Chrome extension developer tool, and much more.
Our hope is that not only will you be able to better debug your queries, but also cache more sophisticated queries and improve the speed of the app for your end users.
