Quick question: how does it perform with very large buckets and high-frequency syncs compared to the Cloudflare dashboard?

Thanks Elias — good question.
For large buckets the browser uses paginated loading with a configurable page size, so it doesn't try to load everything at once. Cross-bucket search indexes as you load rather than requiring a full bucket scan upfront. For high-frequency syncs the engine builds a dry-run plan first — diff between local and remote state — so it only
transfers what actually changed. Concurrency is configurable so you can tune it to your connection and bucket size.
The honest answer vs the dashboard: the dashboard wasn't built for operational workflows at scale, it's built for
occasional management tasks. R2 Desk Pro is built for the opposite — repeated, auditable operations with visibility
