Tauri is amazing. I used it long before the 1.0 (really not a humblebrag), and it was production ready (in my opinion) then! I personally used it for interacting with the systems cameras and while it was a little difficult to pick which architecture to choose (and then implement, since there wasn't a guide), it was awesome in the end. Amazing work by the team -- it's rare to see this level of quality in a F/OSS project that makes cross platform development so easy (and I'm quite the purveyor of web-on-other-platforms tech like NativeScript, NW.js, Electron, etc).
