I just tested it, and oh my god, I'm in love! Love the feeling of exploration, it's like those 'make your own story' books.
Also, I tested on my PhD topic, and it gave quite good results.
I will use it for sure to explore more topics, it's a perfect fun tool for forever learners!
Looks interesting, but I'm turned off that it requires me to sign in to even see how it works and what it does. I get that you want sign-ups and conversions, but at least give me a couple of free searches first, please.
This is one of my favorite tools this year. It's a great product! It makes me want to learn and read more and more. Thank you for building this!
Product Hunt
The canvas and branching tree-like inquiry is unique.
Just asked rabbithole about Product Hunt's origins. :)
Raycast
@rrhoover pretty accurate and fun to revisit! I don't think I was aware of the initial $6.1M investment from a16z!
Product Hunt
@chrismessina yup! That was after we raised a $1M seed while in YC.
@rrhoover This product copied our name and is very close to our functionality (www.rabbitholes.ai). High chances that this is a clone, and I've had the name for the last 6 months. Don't mind the competition, but they could've at least picked a different name. It's disappointing to see copycats being celebrated here on Product Hunt. I had my PH launch planned for next week.
Marshmallow
@praneethpike I feel like undermining a similar idea as a copycat is a stretch, stuff like this just doesn't suddenly exist after 6 months. Embrace similar products, don't talk down on them in every comment you see in here, it doesn't look good.
Wow your AI-guided exploration tool is a brilliant way to satisfy intellectual curiosity! It brings back memories of diving deep into topics during late-night study sessions. At MinutesLink, we're creating an AI assistant that helps teams stay focused during meetings by auto-generating summaries afterward. Perhaps our tools can collaborate to foster deeper learning experiences? Would love to connect over virtual coffee ☕️
The product description is very detailed and highlights many of its strengths. However, during my actual experience, when I asked a question, the system provided an answer that was clearly incorrect, and subsequent responses only served to compound the confusion.
